At Rapala Store at US Fishing Spots, we stand behind our premium fishing gear just like we stand behind every cast you make. While we’re confident you’ll love your Rapala lures, Crispi boots, or fishing rods, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges are necessary. Our policy is designed with the same care we put into selecting our products.

Our Return & Exchange Promise

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. All items must be in original, unused condition with tags and packaging intact. For your safety and ours, certain items cannot be returned (see below).

Non-Returnable Items

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, the following fishing essentials cannot be returned:

  • Hooks & Terminal Tackle (for safety reasons)
  • Used Fishing Line (must be in original packaging)
  • Custom or Special Order Items

How to Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to return your fishing gear:

Step 1: Initiate Your Return

Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Include:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

Within 1-2 business days, we’ll email you a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and shipping instructions. Do not send items without this authorization.

Step 3: Package and Ship

Securely package your items in the original packaging if possible. Include a copy of your order confirmation or packing slip. Ship to:

Step 4: Processing Your Return

Once received, we’ll inspect your items within 3-5 business days. You’ll receive email confirmation when your return is processed.

Refund Information

We process refunds to your original payment method within 3-5 business days after receiving and inspecting your return. Please note:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 3-10 business days depending on your bank
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days

Original shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases of our error.

Exchange Process

For exchanges:

  1. Follow the return process above
  2. In your return request, specify the replacement item
  3. We’ll ship your new item once we receive the return
  4. You’ll be responsible for any price difference

Damaged or Defective Items

If your fishing gear arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

International Returns

For customers outside the U.S.:

  • You’re responsible for return shipping costs
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Customs fees are non-refundable
  • Use a trackable shipping service

Angler’s Tip

Before returning fishing rods or other large items, please contact us for special packaging instructions to prevent damage in transit. We want your gear to stay in perfect condition, whether it’s coming or going!
